We know the pandemic conditions are getting to all of us and we have not been able to provide trips for the first half of this year and we need a break from the malaise. Therefore, A&R is going to hold some games for prizes over the next few Wednesdays!
These games will involve interaction with our Facebook page and can be found at: @AREmployeesUnion or https://www.facebook.com/AREmployeesUnion. Please feel free to “like and follow” for more information on upcoming contests/results and union updates as well.
The first Facebook contest that we will be starting with is a Scavenger Hunt on Wednesday April 28th, and will start at 6:00pm! We will post a list of common household items to our Facebook page, and we are looking for A&R members to find as many items as you can BEFORE the 8pm deadline. Whoever has the most items first will win a great prize! And, of course, there will also be a 2nd and 3rd place prize as well.
Here are the instructions:
- At 6:00pm, A&R will post a list of items for each member to find.
- Between 6pm and 8pm, gather as many of the items as you can and snap a pic (or 2 separate pics if all items can’t fit into 1 pic) and upload the pic(s) in the comment section under the post. Please note: you cannot post to the A&R Facebook page; only under the comment section.
- Each member will be required to post their name above the pic(s) and only (1) comment will be allowed per member as each comment will be time stamped to determined who gets the most items first. Please also note to only post when all items have been collected or shortly before the time is up to make sure you get as many items as possible (as you won’t be allowed to post the pic(s) under comments and then go get more items.
- At 8:00pm, the game will close and we will determine the winner(s).
Then next Wednesday May 5th between 6:00pm and 8:00pm, we will have the Silliest Member Baby Picture contest…if you have a silly baby picture of you, get that “baby” ready to post next week…again, prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners. Instructions for Silliest Baby Picture.
We will follow that up with another contest which will be a “Caption that picture” contest, so stay tuned for more info.
