The 8/3/18 paycheck may have included an additional $5 or $15 payment. This payment is a settlement of a dispute regarding the implementation date of wages in the 2011 A&R contract. The 2013 GWI was implemented a day later than the TopStepPayment. A grievance was filed and was settled during the 2017 contract negotiations. As a result, all currently active A&R employees who were employed in A&R titles on 5/23/13 will receive a settlement of $5. Those employees who were also eligible for a Top Step Payment either July 2013 (paid in August 2013) or January 2014 will receive an additional $10 (for a total of $15). This settlement is, however, limited to only those employees who were on the payroll on 5/23/13 AND are still currently active in the P-5 bargaining unit. Each agency was to apply this payment "as soon as practicable" so it is possible that it did not arrive in this check and may be added to another paycheck.
