The Association of Managerial Employees in the Connecticut State Services. This is an AFT-CT organization that is looking to build a collective voice and advocacy for non-union/exempted employees.
The "blitz" will be September 14 through September 20. The expectation for full participants is intense (8-8 for the full week). Full participants will learn organization skills and conversation skills for discussing workplace issues.
Assistant participation: those who cant volunteer for the full week but are able to help schedule meetings, reserve rooms at an agency, set-up coffee or lunch meetings, post flyer about meeting dates/times.
