A&R Contract Negotiations Completed!

More details forthcoming, but A&R has finally settled on contract terms with the State and completed negotiations on our successor agreement.

The A&R Negotiations Cmte will meet to review the tentative agreement and then vote up/down on recommending it to the A&R Representative Assembly (our executive board).

If the Negotiations Cmte votes to recommend the agreement to the RA, then the RA will take a vote on Tuesday March 10 whether to accept the tentative agreement and send it to the membership for ratification.

The main gist of the tentative agreement is 3 years of 2.5% General Wage Increases (July 1, 2025, 2026, & 2027).  Each year includes Steps/Top Step Payments.  Retro active GWI payments back to July 1, 2025 and retroactive Steps/TSP back to December 25, 2025.  Year 4 of the contract (July 2028-June 2029) is a wage re-opener. There are no changes to telework.  Our new contract would not expire until June 30, 2029.

We will get more details out as soon as we can put it all together.  

If all goes smoothly, we should have a membership ratification vote on/about March 18...we will have a more definitive timeline soon but everyone has been waiting quite some time for this contract so we wanted to get the word out that we are hopefully wrapping this up.
