HEP

Just a warning to anyone who did not complete the HEP requirements for calendar year 2018...within a couple of weeks, the HCCC will be looking to remove from the HEP program anyone who was non-compliant in 2018 and remains non-compliant to this point.  If this describes you, understand that the result will be an increase in premiums of roughly $46/paycheck as well as a deductible of $350/person up to the maximum of $1400.

For those who were HEP-compliant and had a "Chronic Illness", the $100 payment is expected to be included in the 8/2/19 paycheck.

Click here for HEP requirements and remember that anyone with one of the 5 Chronic Conditions also has to complete "disease education" to maintain compliance.

Also, remember to check the Site-of-Service locator prior to any lab tests, x-rays, or imaging to ensure that the costs will be covered and utilize SmartShopper for certain procedures in order to qualify for a rebate.

The Employee-Share for several medical plans did increase this year (employees will eventually be paying 16% of the costs).  We have placed last years expenses next to this years expenses so you can see the difference.

The prescription co-pays did not change, they will remain at $5/$10/$25/$40.
