Earlier this week, 3 state employee unions from the Judicial Branch went to arbitration for a 1-year wage contract.  All three unions had only the single issue of wages for July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026 on the table.  Both parties (the State and the Unions) ended up submitted matching Last Best Offers of 2.5% General Wage Increase plus Step.  This means that the arbitrator will come to the inevitable conclusion that these 3 unions will be awarded a 2.5% GWI plus a Step retroactive to July 1, 2025.  The final award will be issued no later than Dec 3, 2025 and will be set before the legislature

Big Wins!

A big congratulations to all 3 A&R members who were candidates on their local ballots for the Nov 4 Municipal Elections and all 3 came up winners!!  Jon Hand won a seat on the Coventry Town Council,  Meghan Doyle won a seat on the Milford Board of Education, and Heather Petit won a seat on the Hebron Board of Education!  A&R Endorsed 16 candidates in total this year and 15 of them won their seat!

BASIC PLAN - ONLY...Open Enrollment EXTENDED Until October 31, 2025

A&R continues to operate under an extension agreement while we negotiate our new contract.  The A&R Negotiations team has been at the negotiating table with the State since November of 2024 so this has been quite an extensive amount of time.  Through most of this time, we have not had what we consider to be a serious wage offer; meaning, we have received wage offers from the State but those wage offers didn't come close to reflecting the current economic times.  Since the wage offers were well below our threshold for acceptance, the A&R team summarily rejected them without much

Service Ratings are due no later than Tuesday September 30. 

The Rating Categories have not changed (Quality,Quantity, Dependability, Ability to Deal w/Others, & Supervisory) . 
The Evaluation Scoring has not changed (Excellent, Superior, Satisfactory, Fair, & Unsatisfactory).

However, the Annual Rating now comes in 2 parts: the actual "Rating Form" (PER-127) and then a separate "Comments Form" (PER-127A).

The two forms work like this: the Rating Form PER-127 must be signed after receipt and discussion with your supervisor/manager and will go into your personnel file...you must sign it, it doesn't
